CLIENT: GOOGLE // ROLE: VIDEO EDITOR, MOTION DESIGNER & PHOTOGRAPHER
THE NEED
How do we connect and empower people across every professional level within the AdColor community with a physical activation at the conference?
The Approach
While at Creative Theory Agency, we partnered with Google to create the “Museum of Advice” activation, which cultivated a communal space within the rush of the AdColor Conference, to share advice from people across professional levels within the conference and with industry leaders and influencers outside of it.
The Process
The outside walls of the activation featured two LCD screens, which displayed advice from the community. The left was dedicated to portraits utilizing the Google Pixel and its Real Tone technology to accurately represent the skin tones of BIPOC peoples, while the right LCD looped an 18-minute video of advice from various industry leaders, executives, and influencers from Google, YouTube, AdColor, and the YouTube partner Program.
Deliverables
I lead the development of the video compilation, dynamically stitching together various videos of advice into a cohesive and stylized asset, while ensuring accessibility and visual interest.
Throughout the conference, I was also the portrait photographer for the activation. I was responsible for emphasizing Google’s Real Tone Technology and displaying each of the participants advice in a inviting and authentic way. This imagery populated the left LCD screen of the activation and updated bi-hourly with new portraits of the participants.
